Trailblazers Youth Enhancement is a unique and exciting program that combines the love of horses with the joy of learning for students 6th-10th grade (age 11-16). Our goal is to provide at-risk youth (trouble at school, incarcerated/non-involved parents, foster care, abusive/resistant behavior, etc.) with a healthy, positive atmosphere where they can learn and grow. Students in this program focus on educational enhancement while learning life/coping skills, horsemanship skills, along with the ins and outs of therapeutic riding in a 2-hour weekly lesson during spring and fall school semesters. Through mentoring relationships and a Christ-centered emphasis, students are encouraged in positive social behavior, focus, constructive physical activities, teamwork, trust, and responsibility.
We are currently serving students from Bristow, Cushing, Drumright, and Jennings school districts, and we are always open to new areas! Apply below!

Are you ready to change an at-risk youth’s life?
For our Trailblazers, the horses are the best teachers. The time spent together building relationships and learning life skills makes a life-long difference. YOU can give an at-risk youth this life-changing opportunity by volunteering or sponsoring a Trailblazer’s horsemanship lessons! Visit our volunteer information page or the links below to find out how!
Trailblazers: The Journey Summer Camp is an addition to the youth enhancement semester program consisting of summer day camps hosted for groups of 9 students per day. Each camp runs from 8am-3pm and starts with a Bible lesson on a certain character trait; for example, trust or teamwork. That trait is then applied throughout the following lessons in riding, groundwork, and equine care. Students learn how each trait is involved in their daily lives as well as in horsemanship. Space is limited to 9 students per camp. Sign up today!
