Traveling little hooves and big hearts bringing joy to the mobility impaired!

Our Mini Adventurers visit hospitals, nursing homes, schools, The Little Lighthouse, and more…they take therapeutic equine benefits to those who can’t travel to our barn.

Our miniature therapy horses offer joy, comfort, stress reduction, and increased socialization. The opportunity to develop a special connection with animals and participate in a gentle activity can also assist patients with motor, cognitive, and physical skills. The residents’ smiles during each visit are always big and bright!

Meet the Mini Adventurers

Pistol Pete came to us from another therapeutic program where he served veterans in a ground only program with other minis. Since arriving in October of 2021, he works as a Mini Adventurer going places like Drumright’s Fourth of July Celebration and visiting schools. He also works in William’s Walk Program, allowing kids who are unable to groom a large horse the opportunity to brush and love on him.

Velvet is registered as a Division A AMHR miniature horse. She has served as a Mini Adventurer at The Right Path since 2002. She may be a mini, but she has a huge personality! Her favorite costumes are the Princess Pony and Red-Nosed Pony.
